About Gemma
Gemma is a midwife with a calm, steady presence and a deep belief in woman-centred care. For over a decade, she’s supported women through pregnancy, birth, and those tender early weeks of parenthood with care that’s grounded, honest, and full of heart.

She understands that every pregnancy is different and that feeling seen, heard, and supported makes all the difference. Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, Gemma brings empathy, clarity, and care that’s shaped entirely around you.

Experience and Approach
Gemma began her midwifery career in Sydney, where she worked alongside Wahini Health founder, Dr Sapna Dilgir. That strong foundation now continues here, where they offer care that’s both clinically robust and personal.

Now a mother of one and currently pregnant with her second, Gemma brings lived experience to her practice. Her recent move to the Northern Rivers has deepened her belief in the power of community, something she brings into every connection with the women and families she cares for.

She’s especially passionate about preparing women for labour and postpartum in a way that feels real and reassuring. She supports informed choices, realistic expectations, and care plans that feel genuinely your own.

Outside the Clinic
Originally from Sydney, Gemma now calls the Northern Rivers home, where she lives with her husband and young child and is currently expecting her second. You’ll often find her by the beach at sunrise, playing piano, or spending time in nature with her family.
